Session 49

PCs (lvl 15): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

The PCs fight against Mordain and his minions, weakening the Fleshweaver's hold on the Exarch's prison. 

One by one, the PCs fall to Mordain's sickening aura and flesh-warping powers. Even when they manage to free the Exarch, and the monster turns against Mordain, they cannot turn the tables.

The Exarch escapes the battle, leaving the party to Mordain's mercy. The Fleshweaver has none.

Session 48

PCs (lvl 15): Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

The PCs continue to explore the living chambers of Blackroot. They fight undead mind-flayers and fall victim of the evil influence to the tower. Weird mutations start to appear on their bodies, and their minds slowly starts to succumb to Mordain's will.

Having defeates the alhoon, the party encounters more of Mordain's cration, until they arrive at the main chamber of Blackroot. Mordain and his assistant, protected by several fearsome minions, are supervising an arcane ritual, as they sap the mystical energies of the Exarch of Pain.

Session 47

PCs (lvl 15): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

The PCs enter Mordain's tower. Mor uses an arcane eye to scout a few rooms, while Vica confirms Mordain's presence with a locate creature spell. They then begin to explore the fleshy, disgusting rooms of the tower, coming upon an aberration called a balhannoth and several spirit trolls. 


Session 46

PCs (lvl 15): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

The PCs are visiting Moldryron the silver dragon. He explains to them how he has been keeping tabs on them, and their heroic adventures. He shows them around his observatory, and they discuss about the cosmology of Eberron.

While they're resting at the observatory, a group of powerful demons, servants of the Lords of Dust, attack. Together with Moldryron, they defeat the demons.

Session 45

PCs (lvl 14): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

The PCs scout the area around the tower, and finalize their plan of attack. The fight against the Elder Brain Dragon is intense, but the party is triumphant.

Before they get access to the tower, an unexpected figure makes his appearance. A silver-scaled dragonborn comes out of nowhere, and invites the PCs to follow him to his home, to rest and talk. He declares to be a member of the Chamber, an organization of dragons devoted to study the Draconic Prophecy.

The PCs accept the invitation, and are teleported to a colossal orrery somewhere in the mountains. Once there, the dragonborn returns to his real form, that of an ancient silver dragon.

Session 44

PCs (lvl 14): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

The party rests for one night in Dolhurr's Dawn, then they return to their boat. After a few hours they're stopped by some sort of dam blocking the river. The dam is a construction made from the calcified bodies of Mordain's failed experiments.

While the party tries to cross the dam, several hungry sorrowsworns emerge from the dam, and attack the PCs. Having defeated them, the party proceeds.

Not long after, they start to see the silhouette of a horrific black tower, seemingly made from the scales of a black dragon. It looks like they've reached their destination, Blackroort, Mordain's hall.

Zullrik and Lynch scout ahead, and they spot the guardian at the entrance of the tower: a terrifying Elder Brain Dragon! The PCs plan their approach.

Session 43

PCs (lvl 14): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Zip, Zullrik

The PCs sail on the river of blood, eventually reaching the village of Dolurrh's Dawn. The village is inhabited by the clones of several historical figures from Khorvaire's past, like King Galifar and Lhazaar. The clones are unaware of what goes on in the outside world, and are clueless about their very own nature.

The party figures out that the clones are some sort of pet project from Mordain, and pity them for it. While the PCs interact with the clones, they realize that several of them are actually sulfurous impersonations created by an intelligent ooze called an oblex. The PCs destroy the oblexes, and decide to rest for the night.

Session 42

 PCs (lvl 14): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

The party returns to Patrakh'n to rest. After some research, they decide to enter the Forest of Flesh, to find the tower of Blackroot and confront Mordain the Fleshweaver. Everything seems to point to the crazy wizard, and his dealings with otherwordly creatures from Xoriat, the Plane of Madness.

While travelling through the forest, the reach a river of blood, where they are ambushed by a band of hydroloths.

Session 41

 PCs (lvl 13): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

Deep underground, the PCs find the source of the evil cursing the village. An ancient Gatekeeper's seal has been broken, and whatever creature was imprisoned within it has escaped. Several vampiric mind flayers still guard the site, and the party is forced to fight them and destroy them. 

The party eliminates all lingering trace of the evil influence, earning some respite for the village of Patrakh'n. When the PCs leave the site, a vision of Mordain the Flesweaver awaits them outside. The crazed arcanist taunts them, and promises vengeance.

Session 40

 PCs (lvl 13): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

Vica uses a scrying spell to spy on Merrix d'Cannith. She sees him in his laboratory apparently working on the creation of warforged doppelgangers of several prominent figures if Khorvaire's political landscape.

The PCs turn their attention to more pressing matters, and explore the nearby swamp to find out the source of the evil cursing Mor's village. They reach a circle of ancient stones, surrounding a sealed well of impressive size. A group of life-draining undead comes out the the ancient stones, and they attack the party.

The PCs defeat this threat, and open the sealed well, hoping to find the source of this evil deep underground.

Session 39

PCs (lvl 13): Lynch, Mor, Vica, Zip, Zullrik 

The PCs uses their powerful magic to bring the dead kids back to life, earning the respect and accolades of the whole village.

But their good deeds do not go unpunished. During the night, a band of giant multi-armed skeletons attack the village, wreacking havoc. Once again the PCs raise to the challenge, and defeat the monstrous undead.

Session 38

PCs (lvl 13): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik 

The PCs say their goodbyes to Amaerashantha and Berlok, and make preparations to leave. Vica uses a scrying spell to get a view on Mor's village in the Shadow Marches. Then she casts a tree stride spell to teleport the party there.

When they arrive in Patrahk'n, they find the place in a very somber mood. The land is sickened by an ancient evil, and the dead come back to haunt the living as zombies. Newborns turn into aberrant creatures, and attack their own parents. The PCs witness a few of these events, and are forced to battle these monstrosities.

Session 37

PCs (lvl 12): Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

The Party fights against Amearashantha, but not to kill her. They manage to remove the cursed necklace she was wearing, and draw the quori that was possessing her out. They then defeat and destroy the quori.

As a reward, Amearashantha, Berlok, and Agrok forge for them magical weapons made of byeshk.

The party fortifies the rock tower, while they plan to defend it against a dragon's attack. They also scout the valley, where they find fearsome undead, and mysterious forms lurking in the shadows.

They decide to rest for the night, but again Amaerashanta visits them in their sleep. When they awake, the ancient amethyst dragon begins her assault.

The PCs assault the Rock Tower, slaughtering the tribe of ogres inhabiting it, and their Dire Troll leader. They loot the place and plan their next step.

Session 34

PCs (lvl 12): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

The party makes camp for the night. During their sleep, they share a common dream, where they're contacted by Amaerashanta (or whatever is possessing her). After a short exchange of threats, the PCs awake to find their camp under attack by a flock of draconians.

The day after the PCs plan their assault at the rock tower overlooking the entrance to the valley. They eventually decide to attack from the top floor, using magic to fly. They rapidly knock out the ogre stationed at the watchpost, and begin their descent to the lower levels of the tower.

Session 33

PCs (lvl 12): Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zip, Zullrik

Having rescued Berlok, the party ask him to forge magical weapons usings the byeshk they own. Berlok agrees, but informs them that he will need his magical anvil in order to do that, and the help of his former partner, an ancient amethyst dragon called Amaerashantha.

Unfortunately the dragon has been possessed by an entity bound inside a khyber shard, and will need to be freed from this evil influence before she can be of any help.

The party travels to the valley where the dragon makes her lair, and they're attacked by a group of wild beasts, led by a possessed giant ape. When the PCs kill the ape, the quori spirit possessing him makes its appearance. The quori manages to also possess Telkhad; the party is forced to knock him out before they can finally destroy the aberration.

Session 32

PCs (lvl 11): Zip, Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zullrik

The PCs visit the cathedral of Shadows, where they meet with Viela, the dark elf priestess in charge. She reveals that Murdaget, the hobgoblin foreman at the construction site, is keeping Berlok prisoner.

The party pays a visit to Murdaget's warehouse, where they defeat his hobgoblin and troll bodyguards, and capture Murdaget. The hobgoblin tells them his true intentions. The Iron Satyr is a powerful demon (a goristro), and he wants to open a portal to Shavarath to bring him there as a gift to the Fury. Unfortunately Viela has a similar plan, and she shows up not much later.

When a fight erupts, the PCs slay both Murdaget and Viela, and obtain the key to open the portal to Shavarath. They first dismantle pieces of the latticework surrounding the Iron Satyr, making the portal much smaller. In this way, they go to Shavarath without taking the gigantic statue with them. 

On the other side of the portal, they find Berlok in chain, guarded by a few minor fiends. The party takes care of these fiends, they free Berlok, and they cross the portal again, returning to Eberron.

Session 31

PCs (lvl 11): Zip, Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zullrik

The party investigates the house of Berlok. The smith is nowhere to be found, but the PCs find clues connecting Berlok to the high-priestess of the Temple of Shadow, Viela. They also meet Berlok's pseudodragon familiar, who is able to share some info about Berlok's behaviour during the last few weeks. The hobgoblin was having recurring visions about demons, and his mental health was fast declining.

With all clues pointing to the Temple of Shadow, the PCs decide to go there next. Before they can reach the Temple, Lynch has a little talk with Greywall's mayor, the illithid Xor'chylic. The aberration seems to know a lot about the party, especially about their past in Sharn. Xor'chylic suggests that the party never return to Sharn. Luckily, they don't mean to.

Session 30

PCs (lvl 11): Zip, Lynch, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zullrik

The party reaches the Six Kings, a colossal monument carved on the side of the Graywall mountains, dedicated to ancient goblin kings. They bury Elroy's remains at the ffet of the mountains.

After a few more days of travel, they reach the monstrous city of Graywall. They have a short altercation with the minotaurs at the city gates, but they eventually gain access to the city. They spend some time in a tavern, where they meet Lynch, a human detective for Sharn, apparently on their tracks. He was hired by Lobana Petrvna to find the PCs, but he doesn't really trust her. Realizing they have similar suspicions about the woman, the party allow Lynch to join their numbers.

The PCs ask around in order to find a talented blacksmith. They're told of Berlok, a hobgoblin spellcaster and weaponsmith of great talent. Berlok has been last seen consorting with a dark elf priestess of the Shadow, but he's nowhere to be found. His last work was a complex metal constructions surrounding the iron statue of a monstrous satyr situated in one of the city's squares.

The party finds a goblin willing to show them the location of Berlok's house, but the sneaky humanoid leads the PCs into an ambush. The goblin bandits are no match for the party; fearing for their lives, the goblin lead the party to Berlok's home.
