PCs (lvl 7): Aegis, Elroy, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zullrik
In the basement of the theater, the PCs find several drugged individuals, the families of those common people that were forced to try to assassinate them on the Menthis Steps.
While exploring the secret passages adjacent to the main room, they discover the location of a former orphanage. They also find a few old letters related to Merrix's youth. It looks like his mentor Sterryk had placed him in the orphanage to steel him against the hardships of life.
The party leaves the theater with Kervis Pyke in tow, and they bring him to their warehouse to interrogate him. Kervis is fanatically loyal to Merrix, and initially refuses to give any information. Eventually the PCs learn that Merrix is in bussiness with the Swords of Liberty, a terrorist group fighting to usher the fall of the crown of Breland. Rumors of a secret meeting between the Cannith lord and the leadership of the Swords are soon to become reality.
Having learned what they can, the party hands Kervis over to House Phiarlan for further questioning. But Kervis never reaches the Phiarlan premises. During transport, a team of Cannith operatives kills the elves in charge of Kervis, and retrieve their asset.
