PCs (lvl 7): Aegis, Elroy, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zullrik
The party receives a message, warning them that they've been marked for death, but also offering them a chance of safety if they meet the mysterious sender at the Menthis Steps. Even though they foresee a trap, the party decides to go to the meeting.
At the Menthis Steps they meet a big crowd, gathered there for the maiden launch of a new flying warship, the Portent King. Taking advantage of the chaos of the festivities, several assassins attack the party. The PCs manage to foil their attempts, and retrieve a few clues from their assailants. It looks like several of them were being blackmailed into attacking the PCs. All the clues lead to the Silvermist Theather, where the party plans to go next.
