Session 4

PCs (lvl 5): Aegis, Elroy, Mor, Telkhad, Vica, Zullrik

The party persuade Kavill to let them interrogate Yeq. From the shifter they learn that he delivered the letter to a Boromar contact. He tried to read the letter before deliver, but it was written in a code he could not decypher.

The day after the PCs learn from the local news that Yeq has been assassinated while in custody. They then look for an informant in Little Plains, a Sharn district mostly populated by halfling. They meet with Timbal, a City Watch informant willing to help them for the right price. From him they learn that the letter is kept in Far Hearth, the residence of Ilyra Boromar, daughter of clan Boromar's leader, and member of the city council. Timbal also provides them with a map of the villa.

The party investigate the villa's neighbourhood, and find out that a gala will take place soon, a good opportunity to sneak in. They contact the person in charge to provide fireworks for the party, hoping to get hired and have an excuse to join the gala. While discussing terms with the owner of the fireworks' bussiness, they discover he's been threatened by the Daask clan (a criminal cartel opposed to the Boromar).

The PCs follow on this lead, and they discover that the Daask are planning to hit the Boromar gala with a massive dose of explosives. The party assaults the Daask warehouse where the explosives are kept, defeating several gnoll mercenaries and capturing one of the doppelgangers in charge of the operation.
